Maybe you're forgetting that Pete and Schneider completely turned this team around in 2 years. 3/4 of our secondary are 5th and 6th round picks and 2 of them are leading in pro-bowl votes for their respective positions.

Im`a huge Alex Smith fan, I love his game. I also feel the same way about Wilson, I think he is a very good player.
