Most of Future stuff wouldn't be hot in the 90's

He has a few songs that would be good in any era such as Savages,March Madness, etc

But most of his shyt?

No play in he days of Jay,Em,Nas,Kiss,Busta,DMX,Etc

You missing the thing with Future he's not lyrical, rap was at a point where you had to be saying some shyt,he doesn't.
How did Vanilla Ice have a career for awhile?

He says shyt and what was Dr. Dre and Snoop saying on two of the best albums of all times that was deeper than Future? :stopitslime:

And let's not even talk about the 80s when 80 % of all rap was about how and why you were nicer than cats, basically no subject of matter besides the few N.W.A. joints and of course PE and a few others. All forms of rap have always been accepted, people just like to remember what they want to remember though. They don't remember that Boogie Down peaked at like 70 on the Billboards, or that Kool G didn't even peak. But let cats tell it, MC Hammer, Heavy D and such cats were not a lot bigger than those dudes. Salt-n-pepa didn't more than ATCQ whole discography with one album, LL's biggest hits weren't about fukking hoes. Nah only people like Jeru Da Damaja were in demand. Jays break song was not Ain't no nikka.

Are we really acting like this isn't one of the most if not the most #1 ranked songs of the 90s? What was so deep and lyrical about it?

I refuse to believe that people dancing to Shoop wouldn't turn the fukk up if they heard March Madness in the clubs in 94.

So two songs, those two songs are the ones that make Chronic and Doggystyle classic albums and they would've never been anything if it wasn't for those :leon:

He obviously doesn't have those 100/100 caliber tracks but he has his own tracks like

Or especially, probably top 3 Future track

Just a very small example, but often he incorporates his realness in between his fukkery. He can go from talking about strippers to how fukked up his family is and how that shaped him in one verse. Or from talking about selling dope to not being ready for a relationship. He's complex like that, nothing is spelled out. He could expand his vocabulary a bit, but he's mastered the slang talk far from Wu-tang levels but he's one of the illest with the slang out.

This shyt truly feels like The Twilight Zone. These mfs sound retarded, I have no clue how people can rock with this shyt lol.
I was going to stay silent but I agree the last few years the state of hip hop has me on permanent :what: I am getting old though just turned 30.

I never said those two songs make Chronic and Doggystyle classic. Just saying that Future doesnt have a song that's as SOCIALLY DEEP as Lil Ghetto Boy or Murder was the Case.

Like I said, I like Future. I understand why he's popular. Outside of the slang, he also has a unique voice. A unique voice can get you very far in the rap game. Most of the great rappers have a unique voice. It may not be as unique as Future's but still.

Also, I'm not saying that Future didnt make an impact the way Snoop and Dre did. He did make an impact, its just harder to understand him rap.

You nikkas act like I'm tryna shyt on the nikka I clearly said I fukks with future, and quit hating.

Y'all got it,the nikka not lyrical and wouldn't have made it in the 90's with the legendary cats period.

If you don't agree o well,y'all just dikkridin the nikka too much.

He is lyrical and I gave you mad examples in this threads of equally t"non-lyrical" rappers that were the biggest out in the 90s. I'm giving your proof backed by numbers, you are giving me nothing to make me believe you. That's how the world works, we motivate what we are saying :manny:
