I was too young back then to have a Beeper much less a Cellphone but my older cousin had one and used to get booty calls all the damn time with that shyt.
I remember I got my uncle's old one and would clip that shyt to my Jeans and check it and go "Right Right, I'mma Call her later". on some fraud shyt.

though. Pay phones were so disgusting to use too in hindsight. Putting a pay phone receiver to your ear is like not building a bird's nest out of toilet paper on a public commode and taking a dump.
