I’m employed right now so this has nothing to do with me but I often Google interview questions on the regular just to always make sure I’m always sharp since I’m never in a company long term anyway.


But to those of you have been let go or fired do you often tell the truth in your next interview or make up some lie?

got fired from my first two IT jobs but aint stop me from my last 2 since then. I think I average less than 10 days to find a new place when I leave. I always lie and say I left.

I got this current job which was like a 4 to 5 dollar pay raise on a whim lmfao just said fukk it one afternoon and sent like 5 apps. 3 hit me back within 2 days, interviewed one the next day, got hired the 4th day when the others wanted to move forward with me too lmfao.

You lie. Companies can't divulge why you left anyway. The only thing they can confirm is your start date and last day.

Never admit to being fired. Unless it's a mom and pop type business most companies with HR will only verify job titles and dates of employment.

It took me moving back home in my 20s to realize this. These ppl will lie to you to get your labor, lie to them for the check/experience. Get as much as you can. Employee matching 401k, MOOC courses on their dime, gym memberships… get it all

I've omitted it, they never asked me why I was fired in any interviews. They would ask why was you here so short but most of those prior roles were all customer service call center jobs and I was always on school.

So it was always, made adjustments to further my degree. I made an executive decision for myself. Hence why we are having this interview, a degree holder.

But since working in more professional roles,
My industry is incestuous, so they got a excited for me to talk about their competitor.BUT, if you got fired from fraud, funny shyt. You prob gonna be blackball from the whole industry.


Federal jobs , their resume process is much more different, I wouldn't lie on federal job applications or interviews. Imma just give them the raw deal.
