My agenda is to state the facts surrounding this guy and not rely on hype or ride "I can't prove he's great now so I'm gonna go with the unlimited poetential' bandwagon that's going on for the guy.

I'm just talking basketball. Dude has some game. He's a solid when shooting with his feet set and like you said, if he gets out in transition, he'll excel there as well. But just about everything else, he's very average. Passing. Creating his own O. Shooting off the bounce. Driving to his left -- he has loads of work to do to be even good in these categories. He's a 19/9/3 max guy. One of those Shawn Marion in his prime type guys. Start asking him to be the number 1 option and he ain'twinning you sh*t. He's a super utility player.
