To be honest, sitting back watching this objectively you and TUH were more of the problem. I had, and have no intention of doing anything with this thread, but that's just an observation as someone with no skin in the game. Every thread doesn't have to be turned into a philosophical debate. There's enough of them. If the guy wants to count his blessings, let him. The problem that you guys have is that you feel that you need to constantly rail on this subject relentlessly, for no reason. This guy isn't hurting anybody. congrats breh i won't shyt on your beliefs at all, i had the same for most of my life, but at the same time i don't think you should discount your particular skillset and talents that helped you land the jobs either way you been blessed. just try to keep that in mind while you give god the glory.

i have never seen things as clearly as i have since i realized the stories and folklore are all BS made up to control people.

Who knows maybe they would have lived and suffered a horrible life or died even worse than the situation you just described. Obviously not saying its right/wrong for them to die that way.

Just that the argument that good cant happen because there is so much evil and potential evil is kind of weak, IMO.

The fact that most religions believe in heaven kinda deads the whole argument. One could argue God is rewarding them for their suffereing
