5 Mics!
fukk a 4.5!
Didn't the source re-scored it again giving it 5.

Yep

My crew and I played this HEAVY that entire summer. While everyone was fixed on E. 99, we were on this.

They were both in my rotation. I was led to believe E1999 was Eazys last project so that was a must have only to find out years later he never heard the final version.

Jodeci, D'Angelo's Brown Sugar and then later Faith Evans first album were the summer rotation. That Junior Mafia hype was serious only to find out the Conspiracy album was a weed plate when I was expecting Ready To Die pt 2.

I remember going in on release day to buy this and ended up getting it half price because someone had already bought it and traded it back in that day. Made me think it would be terrible.

It wasn't

I was in summer school and asked my pops to buy the CD for me on the release date. That day after school he calls me to let me know he was down stairs to hand me food, money and what I thought was gonna be the CD and he hands me the vinyl thru the window. :stopitslime:

I had a $5 bag of weed ready, waiting for him to come thru only to find out he bought the vinyl which I never asked for because nobody is pulling out the record player to play music in 1995. I handed it back to him and told him to get me the CD which he didn't get till that Saturday. If I remember correctly the vinyl was 2 records. I remember being so hyped that I was actually considering just taking the vinyl but that wasn't going to fly. I had a CD walkman and a stereo with a cd playet. My plans was to go to school listening to it not sitting by a fukking record player at my house dropping a needle on a record like we still in the early 80's.

6 mics for me… classic of classics.

It sounded so tough and original at the time it’s hard to describe. It defined that part of my life.

I’d love to go back and get blunted with some people who’ve passed or I’ve lost touch with along the way. 30 years ago makes me feel old, but so blessed that this was the music was I was young.
