On LinkedIn recruiters are always on their soapbox. If she posted this on LinkedIn she would have hundreds of other recruiters agreeing with her and showering her with praise.
Seems like she posted this in the wrong platform

This is one of the reasons I hate what LinkedIn has become. The shyt is basically Facebook for jobs and the only time I even visit is when a recruiter messages me, other than that, I avoid it.

You don't know her finical situation. She may have really needed it. Might have student loans, etc.
Not a good look, and you wonder why women make less :mjlit:

Same. I will say. There are people that be calling these recruiters and other human resources associates out in the comments.
They be standing on their ground with full company info on their profile challenging them

Kats don't know how to negotiate or do research when applying for jobs.

Jokers are idiots. It is the recruiters job to get you to take less that's how they meet their metrics and get raises/bonuses.

For all the slow folks out there. When you get the email for the interview go on glassdoor and sign up for LinkedIn premium so you can see the salary ranges for the job you are interviewing for. Get in your head the salary range you are looking for.

If they ask for a salary ask the HR person what is the range for the position. Often times they might slip up and tell you so you also have and idea what to ask for.

Finally when interviewing always get the name and contact info of the hiring manager. The hiring manager sets the salary range and the budget. If the salary the HR person offers is less than you expected. Go straight to the hiring manager and tell them the salary that you were expecting. But be smart list the reasons to the manager based on your experience and education why you deserve this salary.

And when this person finds out what they’re worth in 6 months and puts your company on her resume to parlay it into what she’s really worth they’ll be complaining that they can’t find talent

Yeh but that could mean the candidate low balled themselves below even the lower end of the bell curve. So lets say the company pays their junior engineers a salary range of 70k to 85k. But the person asked for 55k. Well the HR folks got to pay them at least 70k cause that is the bottom of the range.

She posted an update/"apology" on on her FB. I'm surprised it's still up.

I'd post it, but I'm :flabbynsick: and don't know how.

For the life of me I don't understand why people post shyt like this on Twitter especially under their government names. I'm not posting nothing about my job on social media.
