The 34 offensive linemen drafted in 1974 weighed, on average, 255 pounds. By 1999, the 34 drafted offensive linemen weighed an average of 317 pounds, a 62-pound, 24 percent increase. During the same span, rookie defensive linemen gained 34 pounds, tight ends gained 33 pounds, and linebackers gained 19 pounds.

So a 317 lb lineman in 1999 isn't stronger than a 255 LB lineman in 1974?:stopitslime:

I ain't showing you shyt, check them injury reports

The NFL passed rules forcing teams to be more strict with injury reports. Guess what happened after they did that? Reported injuries skyrocketed. The players weren't getting hurt more the teams just couldn't keep quiet anymore. You think people weren't getting concussions back then? They just didn't report it and you kept playing. Now if there's a big hit you come off the field and undergo testing.

You clearly don't realize that ACL injuries weren't even understood back in the 60's. Players tore it and continued to play. Then they tore the meniscus and their knee was shot. Doctors had no idea what to do with a torn ACL. A player who blew his knee out in college wasn't even making it to the NFL.

How fast were pitchers pitching in the 60s? the

They didn't have the technology to clock pitches. I just read something that said back in 1917 Popular Science theorized that pitchers at that time were throwing 150mph:mjlol:

They didn't have much statistical data in those days which is why OP's premise is DOA.
