I wanted the Steelers to sign him

Rams went from Marshall GOAT to Steven Jackson to Todd Gurley....all in their primes.
By far the best RB turnover since the beginning of the millennium.

dallas was the poster child for goin all in in spite of the salary cap implications and consequently living in cap hell. This is NFL Salary cap 101
They chose to go all in for basically 1 year return on their investment
When Dallas dont go big in Free agency, Im never mad. Just look at the Rams..
DONE!
He'll always be a Ram to meDamien not quite on their level but he is niceChiefs had mean RBs too
Priest to Larry to Jamaal to Kareem to Damien

Not really. The TOP salaries would skyrocket, but mediocre, average, and low tier players would be playing for peanuts, because theres so many guys desperate to play in the league. Unions aren't for the highest earners, it's to protect the majority of players who make lower money and would make even lower money without a CBA.If you need more laborers then you need to devote more money to labor. Football players have shorter career windows and put a lot more of their life of the line, the fact that the owner needs more of them to make the team go means they should get a bigger slice of the pie, not that he can just pay them all less.
The whole way that football salaries (or any other American sports league) work is a total scam. Can you imagine if all the tech companies got together and agreed to limit how much they paid their employees? It's an illegitimate monopoly - they should force teams to act as independent businesses and compete for players, and salaries would skyrocket.
