So in the last month regarding players getting paid we've had:

Gurley get suspended for signing autographs
Nick Saban gets a house paid for him by boosters, this is on top of his multi million dollar salary
Marcus Lattimore retires after two knee injuries he suffered in college, ruining his potential to earn millions
Gurley's first game back from being suspended for taking autographs he tears his ACL.

I don't even see how you can argue against it anymore. These dudes need to be able to accept any every dollar that comes there way.
