Especially at 3 years, she probably wasn't even more than 2' tall, unless you KNOW she is back there no way to see her. Me personally, I always get sh*tted on for this, but whenever I am in a driveway or a public space, I back out inches at a time. Because there is always one old person or one dumb kid who will run up behind the vehicle, and you will be forever the azzhole. All that peeling out sh*t is for the movies, in a residential setting you have to drive as if you are expecting something to go wrong, that's the only way to stay accident free :francis:
When we get the model of the truck we'll get the full extent of the situation

I'm expecting one of those big azz trucks like suge had

Just to give you an idea I drive a Yuke and one time I almost hit a kid on a bike while driving foward. If I can't see a kid on a bike in an SUV no way in hell you are seeing a 3 year old walking BEHIND the car. Some sh*t you can't anticipate, that's why the best offense is a good defense in this situation. Do a quick glance behind your vehicle before you hop in, reverse slow, look both ways before you change direction, and exit moving forward slowly while looking at all directions. Accidents happen when people don't follow protocol, and it's ALWAYS the one time you don't follow protocol some bullsh*t happens, life is f*cked up that way. Most importantly RIP to Heap's daughter, and hope the breh gets through this.
