Josh Allen is legit

I don't see how you can watch him and not clearly see that hes an elite talent

Hes more talented than any of the qbs in this years draft

I haven't watched the 2 west coast qbs play yet but im gonna be watching them closely this season

I watched his highlight vids last night.

Here's what I came away with.

He's a dual threat, with good speed, good arm strength.....BUT he's playing against the sisters of the poor talent wise. He's clearly bigger, faster more athletic than the other guys. It looked like a high school highlight reel.

Now translate that and put Deshaun Watson in his place, and Watson puts up even better numbers. Josh Allen looks good the way some of those Boise St kids looked really good few years ago. But that doesn't mean he's worthy of a top pick.

He's not running over, around power 5 D1 players every week like he is in Wyoming.

I saw enough to see he's not trash like Gabbert etc, but he's basically playing subpar talent every week

I don't care what numbers Watson would put up

If you watch both qbs one is clearly more talented than the other and it aint Watson

This is about projecting what a qb will be not what they are now

If it was about what you are now Watson would've been the 1st qb drafted not the 3rd

Josh Allen is a elite prospect

Watson is not

You won't see Allen in the 20s or 30s on anybody big board like the qbs this year

And I like Watson so I don't mean to shyt on him but hes a Alex Smith level prospect talent wise

Allen is a Cam/Luck/Big Ben level prospect

I think there's enough successful qbs from small schools to not have that as a impossible hurdle for a qb to make a jump to the NFL from

No how you translate to the pros physically and from a talent standpoint is the most important thing

Tebow and Vince Young carved up great college defenses. Big Ben came from the MAC. It doesn't matter

They don't get it.

stats and who you play against is not the determining factor in how a qb is gonna translate to the pros. His skill set is

I guess these dudes would draft Chad Kelly high too because he carved up an Alabama defense :russ:

Says the Kizer fan. Will Kizer even start week 1 over the scrubs Cleveland has? :jbhmm:

I can't front, I think Kizer has 'it'

I think he'll be a solid pro.

Still no answer to my original question :jbhmm:

I answered you breh, and even included some game film.

Not sure what you're watching, Rosen looks mediocre as hell. Darnold is the real deal though.

Darnolds arm is nothing special. Dude is gonna flop. Not because he can't play, but because of the ridiculous expectations that are being placed on him this offseason.

Dude plays in Wyoming brehs.

Off GP I'd rather have JT Barrett.

Negged.

Why?

Did it matter who Wentz put up numbers against?

Did it matter who Manziel put up numbers against?

Did it matter who Jason Campbell put up numbers against?

Danny Wuerffel?

Big Ben?

Flacco?

Christian Ponder?

I could keep going

Hella qbs have put up numbers at big programs and wasn't shyt in the league and hella players have put up numbers at small schools and have been successful and vice versa

This is how you draft busts when you get too caught up in where a guy played and who they played against

Just pay attention to the talent

It's why dudes on here were mystified that Watson wasn't the first pick and the greatest thing since sliced bread because of what he did to Bama

His skill set for the NFL level is not very good which is on tape if you watch it. Hell from a NFL evaluation standpoint his Bama tape isn't very good.

Dudes on here are judging qbs on college stats and emotion lol

Lol.

Again, dude is facing no pass rushes, is man handling Lbs and dbs. That's not happening on a real D1 level.

To further my point, even his wrs and rbs look faster and more athletic than their competitors.

Again, not saying he's trash, but he was a 2star for a reason. I mean Sam Bradford was a 2 star if I recall, but he played at OU against other major talent.

If this is the case, then every tall white prospect QB needs to choose the Wyomings, Hawaii s, of the Cfb world. Don't go to Bama, Oklahoma, Michigan etc bc you will look bad
