grades get you in the door for interviews which is very important (for campus recruitment) but during them interviews youre all at a level playing field. there are many factors. after a certain cut off 3.7GPA though you're good enough to get interviews in finnce.

race, similar to me effects, extracurriculars, how likeable you are, halo effects, applying your knowledge, other psychological biases, all sorts of shyt matter once youre in the interview
