Looney Tunes was dope, but Tom and Jerry was the only show that could make me burst out laughing… especially without dialogue

I chose TnJ with Looney second. I liked Disney movies somewhat but not all and only TV shows I can think of is TailSpin and Darkwing Duck.. That I also loved. Never liked Mickey

Looney Toons' roster is too deep to put Tom & Jerry against. That's like taking your favorite Tag Team champs and putting them in a Royal Rumble Ring but everyone is only trying to take them out.

Thats a fair point.....if it was Bugs VS somebody / Tom N Jerry it would be an even bout.

Looney Tunes has the most classics and it's not even close.

Tom and Jerry was aight back in the day. Not sure I've ever seen anything with Mickey Mouse in it (besides Kingdom Hearts) that was entertaining.

I have to vote Looney Tunes.

Daffy Duck is fukking hilarious and IMO THE funniest cartoon character of all time. That crazy MF has had me rolling since I was like four years old.

Tom and Jerry come a close second though.

the roasting was next level on LT......honestly between that and early WWF / WB sitcoms it really helped mold my shyt talking technique :ohlawd:

I grew up with Looney Tunes and Disney Channel prime, which was late 80s-1998.

I couldn’t wait to watch the vintage Disney shorts on Disney Plus. (That’s how you find the good stuff on Disney Plus)

The old schools Looney Tunes used to be on Max, and I’d put that on as background noise when I took a midday nap, but it’s not there anymore. They had decades of Looney Tunes which played for hours.

:mjcry:
So I’m going with old school DISNEY cartoons, because they are still available, but won’t play continuously.

They still have Tom And Jerry, but I don’t remember those the same as the Looney Toons. I’d take 90s Tiny Toons, and Animaniacs too.

Edit: I’m 40 years old, born in 1984, graduated 8th grade 1998, high school 2002, for reference

Not to be a nostalgia killer but...

Tom and Jerry were on some :mjpls: shyt in the beginning...

Mickey Mouse's origin was based on minstrel shows and Blackface.

The infamous Censored Eleven consisted of Looney Tunes episodes that used ethnic stereotypes of Black Americans.

It's ironic how Black children in the '80s, '90s, and early 2000s were indoctrinated to enjoy these cartoons for decades and not realize how, at times, they were mocking us in some fashion or the origins of certain characters were made in bad faith. :sas2:

We're all guilty of enjoying these shows as adolescents at some point, but knowing the truth, at least for me kinda dims the nostalgia factor.
