Sports ain’t declining any time soon. The powers that be know sports is the glue that holds society together. Social tissue would break down without it. Sports is also a multi-billion dollar industry. Too many people depend on the professional sports industry to make a
Living. Sports is the main reason a lot of people still pay for cable. Because they want to watch live television

Yeah I don't see it dying, but there are a lot more ways for people to find entertainment now and many people ain't watching the game anymore.

That's always been a thing (people will watch a show on another station instead) but now the dynamic nature of things such as live streams really throw things for a loop.

A lot of people will visit TikTok, hit the "Explore" tab and go on a rabbit hole for hours.
People find new shyt to watch that way, what's trending, new shows and cartoons everyone is talking about, etc.
Then when some Live stream start trending, it's like everyone will rush.

The present-day fan don't like to hear it, but all of sports seems watered down/formulaic now.I doubt we'll ever see some innovative shyt like Air Coryell or the Greatest Show On Turf again.It's like we've exhausted every idea & strategy.Empty on ingenuity.Even when you go over to the NBA, nearly every team plays the exact same cotdamn way.Personally, I feel like both leagues peaked far as love for the game, entertainment value, revenue/commercial success all being in total alignment 1985-2015.It's been spiking down since.

it's really crazy because it's about the most valuable asset to the team, and y'all are losing your minds over a dude who consistently steps up when his team needs him the most. We needed to run one in the make a 3 point game, he did it. We needed a shot play to make it 21-17, he did it.

you may classify a top QB as someone who can put up empty stats like stat padscott (playing into 4th quarters in blowouts after beating up on garbage), but to me it means a QB you can win with. Who does whatever it takes to get his team over the top.

not the point of the stat actually, just a little added spice Point is Hurts is at the top of the convo because he shows up when it counts, and that is verifiable proof of it. You wanna statwatch and subtract all his rushing stats and ignore the clear value he brings to the team, that's fine. But you should know if Hurts goes down, the Eagles ain't doing shyt.
