why you think we say "T-Mac made the playoffs and never advanced past the first round" he's a casualty of war. Like Kobe, you arent going to have the team to compete every single year. Lebron has pieces to at least compete in the above average crowd of NBA but he's stuck in the middle (similar to kobe) The problem is unobjectively, fans are pushing for Ws and rings for Lebron when he's not even there completely for that... he's able to perform and he gets paid so why not keep signing? But basing all players on every year is a cop out for fair-weather fans, the logic doesnt even make sense in your own accord. It would be like saying if Magic won his rookie year and retired... then he is the greatest player of all time based on %. An example now would be Anthony Edwards, regardless of if its likeability with refs etc he's taking career L's at this point in his career... he should be winning finals and not going the fukk home.
