I 100% believe Beli would trade Brady (if allowed) when he felt the time was right. I also 100% believe Kraft would block such a trade. But this seems to be alleging that Kraft traded Jimmy G against Beli's wishes...I don't believe that for a second.

So I too must dismiss this as fake news.

I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss this. Sounds like some conflict between Kraft and Beli.

Wonder if Beli would be pissed enough to leave. :ohhh:

Yo Beli, if you don't want your team owner... all up in the videos.. making decisions, trading players... come to DALLA......

ah fukk it :mjcry:

The idea that Brady can play 2-3 more years is laughable imo. The team is winning but Brady constantly looks slightly off. He was missing a lot of throws on Sunday. He's holding the Pats hostage in a sense. The best scenario would have been Brady retiring at the end of the season, then Jimmy G takes over. Now the future has some uncertainty.

Could thy bring back Brissett next year?

I think had we held on to win the SB there might have been some truth to this, but after that comeback he’s teflon

did you see the articles and news conference yesterday? Pats was ready to give Jimmy G a starting QB salary to keep him happy while Brady winds down. said it was the hardest time he had trading a player away

so for Beli to give a bckup QB $18mil to sit on the bench? i believe it

Sunday may not have been his best, but the dude is still the top QB in the league. He leads the league in yards, yards per game, 2nd in QB rating, 3rd in TDs. Despite the fact we don't have a running game, Edelman is done, and Gronk looks like a shell of himself.

I agree that he ain't gonna last another 3 years the way he's getting hit right now. He's holding on to the ball and getting hit more because no one is getting open as quick as Edelman used to. But the dude is still performing despite all that.

I think the dude should have retired though. What else does he have to prove?

Jimmy is gonna be good and Beli knows it:mjcry:

Every article I've read said they were trying to keep Jimmy but COULDN'T meet his number.

Show me an article suggesting they offered Jimmy $18M
