Man as far as these online only (or at least multiplayer leaning) console games go, this game is probably the most polished in terms of mission structure and it makes the experience almost seamless.
Destiny, Anthem, and Monster Hunter, all have hubs you have to go to that are behind long load times and completely break up the experience.
The Division reveals missions in a way that keeps you playing and makes the world feel alive.
Anthem is the biggest offender followed closely by Monster Hunter, with each completed mission taking you straight into a loading screen and into a hub where you have to find your next mission.
Destiny isn't as bad, but it isn't on the same level as the Division when it comes to minimizing the time spent on loading screens and keeping missions rolling back to back.
I'm really appreciating the smarter AI in The Division 2 vs the first one. I love how enemies try to corner you aggressively. Also, the checkpoints in this game have been forgiving as hell, which makes long sessions fun.
Overall, I think this is a huge improvement over the first game and is right there with Destiny 2 to me in terms of fun and overall quality.
Only knock I would give this game in comparison to the others I mentioned is the guns, enemies, and story aren't as interesting as Destiny 2.
