All I know is that Tom Cruise has been "Tom Cruise" since I can remember. He may have had some stinkers at the Box office but for the most part he been money. He's what Will Smith was for about 10 yrs. But he's been that for damn near 40 yrs.

Yeah Will Smith had an insane run.
Tom Cruise roles from the last 15 years have had a lighter feeling to them that doesn't take themselves too seriously which is great and entertaining. Legendary career. Nearly the whole thing has been a run.
Will Smith used to be the same, but started to take more serious roles and even some of his lighter roles ended up having more drama to them.
Imagine if instead in Bad Boys 3 Mike Lawry was all gmb because before the movie his wife left, took him to court and dude has hot temper for the bad guys. Will would have definitely made that role shine. It would've been a throwback to the Fresh Prince and Bad Boys I days and the type of entertainment people really want to see.

Word of mouth with this movie is strong. Been a while since I’ve seen an action movie like this where literally everyone I’ve talked to have high praises for it. Still haven’t seen it but will soon hopefully
