I guess I can see how the casual gamer wouldn't notice the difference, but going from COD to BF3 the difference is very noticable.
so i'm a casual gamer cause i dont care about it? lol ok...anyway, i'll take your word for it

It's a big deal for FPS games. Try playing BF3 on PS3 then play BF4 on PS4. You'll notice how much smoother it looks and moves with double the framerate. It's also a HUGE reason why COD was as big as it was on last gen consoles.
It wouldn't matter the tech... 60fps is 60fps.couldnt the game running better on the 4 than the 3 be attributed to the tech being better?....i get what yall saying and i'll take yall word for it, it just never mattered to me...never looked at a game differently cause of the framerate
It wouldn't matter the tech... 60fps is 60fps.
If you run COD on PS3 and then run Killzone or BF3 on PS3, you'll notice the difference in movement/fluidity right away.

If you don't notice the difference between 30fps and 60fps then I'd have to assume you were. The tech really doesn't matter, I have 3 & 4 for PS3 and its a huge difference. 4 plays much better than 3.couldnt the game running better on the 4 than the 3 be attributed to the tech being better?....i get what yall saying and i'll take yall word for it, it just never mattered to me...never looked at a game differently cause of the framerate

I don't think that can be attributed to fps.
COD and BF4 still feel different on the new consoles.

Of course the actual games play differently.Have you played both on ps4?
I've played both on X1 and cod still feels faster/smoother even though both are running at 60 fps
Speed and frame rate arent' mutually exclusive.Have you played both on ps4?

this
this is why your a casual gameri've noticed a difference in the smoothness of games, but i dont care, has nothing to do with casual or not...as for 4 playing better than 3, i would hope so...the devs are more experienced with the tech, so i hope they'd be able to make a better product...
i'm not doubting yall about it playing/looking smoother, i'm just saying this is one of the things i never cared about when talking about a game...seriously: if they didnt tell yall the framerate of the game, would yall actually care or be able to tell what it was?...could yall sit there and be like 'yea, that's 30 fps' or 'nope, that's not 60 fps'?...i dont think this is something gamers really care about...i think they pretend they do just so they can have a bragging point for their console/game of choice, but that's about it...
