Ya but that was said in the context of difference between 30 and 60 not 30 and 32. Like I said, its not the main selling point for buying a game, but lets not act like it doesn't matter.it doesnt make a difference to me in the fact that it doesnt factor in to whether or not i'm going to purchase a game, play a game, or enjoy a game...
yes, i do think it's a bullshyt talking point..think it started with devs to say our product is better than theirs, that has slid down to gamers and their console of choice...it's one of those lil things to get people to overlook bigger things...like 'this game isnt fun, but it runs at 60 fps and in 1080p'...like that's supposed to make it better or more fun....
i havent changed anything, just go back and read...you asked if i noticed a difference? i said yes, just i didnt care....then i asked if they didnt tell the number of fps, could you tell what they were?...
i dont get why this shyt matters?...this is one of those things i think people try to hold over the other side like it's important, but it really aint....seriously, most didnt even care about framerates until it became a bragging point....
just ran the Tomb Raider benchmark on my PC
Specs are 4770K @ 4.0 GHz and a GTX 780 and the game is set to ultimate.
Minimum FPS 58
Maximum FPS 62
Average FPS 59.9
i know a 53 average FPS isn't locked at 60 but its damn good when a PC with my specs pulls a 59 average. the Xbox One version must have been capped at 30 FPS because the performance is so erratic it would look messed up to have it hit 60 FPS at some points then dip down to 24 at others.
edit forgot to unlock the framerate. brb.
the game had V-sync on. i forgot it has that on by default. Can't really be compared. The new TR I believe is running TressFX 2.0 which is supposedly a whole lot more efficient than the the first version.

I hope the xbox one version doesn't sell one copy!
i've noticed a difference in the smoothness of games, but i dont care, has nothing to do with casual or not...as for 4 playing better than 3, i would hope so...the devs are more experienced with the tech, so i hope they'd be able to make a better product...
i'm not doubting yall about it playing/looking smoother, i'm just saying this is one of the things i never cared about when talking about a game...seriously: if they didnt tell yall the framerate of the game, would yall actually care or be able to tell what it was?...could yall sit there and be like 'yea, that's 30 fps' or 'nope, that's not 60 fps'?...i dont think this is something gamers really care about...i think they pretend they do just so they can have a bragging point for their console/game of choice, but that's about it...
ur so wrong in that last paragraph fam.. And I'm not even tryna knock u or nothin...Of course u can tell..the game literally FEELS different..u notice it right away..so you can tell that shyt without them telling you?
also, since all i care about is the game and whether it's fun or not, i'm a casual gamer? lol that's funny...i'm pretty sure i've invested more into gaming (time and money) than you, but if you say so...
Funny, cuz BF3 was highly praised while BF4 constantly gets shytted onframerates are important to an extent, perfect example was BF3 @ 30fps going to 60fps on BF4

So your comparing a 2yr old game on a last gen console to a recently released game on a next gen consoleIt's a big deal for FPS games. Try playing BF3 on PS3 then play BF4 on PS4. You'll notice how much smoother it looks and moves with double the framerate. It's also a HUGE reason why COD was as big as it was on last gen consoles.

I think one copy of a game being superior than another is very important info that the customer deserves to know about.i think some would notice the difference, but not as many as you think...i dont think many are going to buy the same game for different systems just to comapre...the only time i think info like this might be important is when it comes time to making a choice about what system to buy...
yea, you notice that effect...it ruins a bunch of shyt
Funny, cuz BF3 was highly praised while BF4 constantly gets shytted on
But keep talking like you know anything
So your comparing a 2yr old game on a last gen console to a recently released game on a next gen console
Did you really think you was making a point there laddy![]()
You funny as hell mane. BF4 wasn't shytted on because of framerate and likewise BF3. BF3 on PC always ran at 60fps so
.
