The revamped TR is nothing like the original ones. UC made them switch up their flow, the shyt was garbage.

i agree that the new Tomb Raider game is very different from the older ones.
the older games were very puzzle oriented...the puzzles were the set pieces, just you and a room.

there were battles but they were not the body of the game.
battles were nice little snacks you got in between using your brain.

don't get me wrong. i did enjoy the new game, but it was very different from what i knew.

Thing is, Tomb Raider turned from what you explained into Uncharted before the remakes
You dudes should brush up on your tomb Raidin historuh. Then go enjoy it cuz its a great series.

Its a series, the first game is scratching the surface bruh. Tomb Raider always had a story with it, but I bet most people have no idea what the original Tomb Raiders story was about (Ive never heard anyone here speak on it and I'm here everyday)
Just like Uncharted, Tomb Raiders story always evovled in the same fashion. The new more experienced and confident Laura will shine this go round, just like Drake did his 2nd go round.

i played them all... you cant say that uncharted din't rip off loads of stuff from tomb raider. But hey "no ideea is original, there is nothing new under the sun, it's never what you do but how it's done" and i think TR and uncharted 3 are both amazing games. I did like TR more tho

Uncharted games are much more entertaining. More shooting, action, better story, online etc.

OG TR garbage. Only good TR game was the temple of light.

If the thing isn't entertaining why keep playing? Entertainment is the main reason you're even playing.
Basically IMO, tomb raider is an overrated franchise.

Sense of achievement for a start. Challenge is another And I'm not saying entertainment isn't important, OG TR is entertaining, but it has, for me personally, a sense of achievement and challenge absent in a lot of modern games.
