Folks talking about how he's competitive, obsessive, a psychopath etc, regardless of that being true or not, I think it's less that and more the fact that it's probably easier for him to just continue on for what he's been doing for the last 20+ years, rather than assimilate and reintegrate back into 'normal life' as it were. Same principle for cats who've been locked up for an extensive period of time, get out, and end up reoffending if only subconsciously to go back to their life inside.

She knew what it was when she married him. He’s one of the most famous and celebrated athletes of all time and an infamous competitor. If i’m not mistaken he’s spoken about his desire to play well into his 40’s for damn near a decade. NONE of his behavior is surprising in the least.
If she feels like she “sacrificed” enough then leave his ass. This isn’t the 1700’s where women didn’t have choices or were shamed for divorces. She’d be looked at as a feminist icon and hero for “reclaiming her narrative” from an inattentive and uncaring brute of a man who didn’t “appreciate” what she gave up for him (even though she “gave up” into a lifestyle of complete comfort and stability and really no less celebrity than she had in her prime) divorcing him would actually breathe second life into her career.
So miss me with ANY suggestion that this particular woman is in any way a victim. She’ll win regardless. Brady is making sure HIS professional desires are completely fulfilled before he hangs it up. As a man you gotta pay the cost the be the boss. All Gisselle gotta do is file some paperwork
