This makes no sense my man or elaborate for my slow ass
Well said breh.put that together very wellYou ever dated someone miserable because of the fact that their life ain't going the way they wanted it to? Or it was until they sacrificed part of their unique happiness for the betterment of the relationship, only for them to change in spiteful ways because they now see you as the person that changed them for the worse? Or have you ever been that person I just described?
Once one person becomes unhappy, the relationship itself will eventually become unhappy. Humans have this weird idea that external sources can be the source to true happiness. It ain't. What makes one individual happy will be unique from what makes another individual happy. To remove that source of happiness is to remove a part of one's self, and as long as it's not something destructive or disrespectful to their partner, no one should ever compromise their foundation for any one else, nor should any one ask their partner to compromise themselves for another.
Giselle knew from day 1 what this man does for a living and how much internal pleasure he derives from it. She probably thought she could replace it. Tom grew up in athletics. He did not grow up as a married man with children. While I'm sure he loves his family, take away the thing that he considers his calling probably makes him a miserable sack of shıt. She also probably doesn't have the burning, psychotic passion for modeling that he has for being a quarterback, much less an NFL quarterback, so she probably can't relate to where his head is at.
If she didn't think his love for the game was concrete to the point that even a gorgeous wife couldn't replace that in his mind, soul, and body, she knows now.
And I don't care if your true happiness stems from something as simple as sitting down with a pad of graph paper and designing structures just for fun because deep down you're innnately an engineer or architecht, once you stop doing that and you reject that outlet because you compromised for another, you'll take it out on the partner that took it from you.
Happy and healthy relationships are the sum of 2 internally happy people. Always have been. Always will be.

I appreciate u elaborating and not cussing me out for no reason breh .

Accurate but we are assuming it's because of him unretiring and nothing else. The decision was made back in march or so right? And only now we hear of separation?
She obviously knows the passion he has for the sport, she has to just live with that but who knows what conversations happen. Maybe he set out to retire at this point a few years back and reneged, who knows. But either way this could be more than just him playing another season.
so you think a career is more valuable than your own children?Didn't Giselle sacrifice her career and dim her spotlight to raise those damn kids of theirs too? I can understand why she'd be furious
Some of y'all seem to be forgetting she was the biggest model in the World and wealthier than him.
Her job wasn't to simply be a housewife like most wifes/girlfriends/baby mamas of athletes.

Yup, if she's not going to be supportive then...
so you think a career is more valuable than your own children?![]()
