This isnt about spending time with the kids or family like some of the simps in this thread tried to make it. This all about a woman who resents her husbands success and is trying to compete with him. She wants to dim his light and retire so she can get some of the spotlight.

Tom needs to bush her and get a younger woman that would be happy to just be the wife of a goat. The minute he officially retires Gizelle will be filing divorce. That will be her "revenge" and a way to get more attention and reset her image apart from Tom. He probably knows this is what she will do already.

If she stepped back because he asked her to, and he asked her to do this with some sort of promise or anything of the sort to do the same when it was her turn, then she's in the right. When it comes to relationships and marriage, you can't ask something of your partner you're not willing to do yourself.

The problem one runs into here is one of the relationship issues social media loves to put a spotlight on: Women doing things and claiming its for their men, then getting mad at men for not returning the favor when the men never asked or required those things from her in the first place.
