No he's not. He's a professional internet troll. He's the guy that swings a baseball bat at a bee hive just to create a spectacle. He's also not a very savvy troll because there's places that will take legitimate black troll seriously if they have acceptable content. Somebody like Stacey Dash can go on Fox News and troll and keep it PG but Tommy is a rated R troll and they're not gonna put him on TV with all that profanity and vulgarity.
He's a gutter shock jock type troll and as a black male that puts you in a pretty bad position because whites aren't gonna really fully embrace that and many black folks that listen probably despise the guy. There's no home audience and no room for growth in his lane. His likely best case scenario is continuing to be somewhat of a YouTube celebrity most people love to hate.
It's the 50 Cent effect. You come out trolling people and it gets you famous but nobody actually likes you for you and after the while that clock on the viability of that runs out. 50 is a guy that at one point sold 8 million+ records with one album but if he dropped today he'd likely struggle to even sell half of what it takes to go gold. He never really built a fanbase or came across as a likable person.
That's how Tommy strikes me. Even when I listened to him regularly it was just for the comedic value of the shocking things he says. I don't even remember why they fell out but Tariq Nasheed should have been who he patterned himself after. Sometimes Tariq says comical shyt but he keeps it clean enough that a Fox News or another major outlet will have him on. Stuff like that allows him to keep a higher profile.

But I think that level of troll still has it's perks. At one point 50 was the biggest rapper in the game (albeit for a very small window). Sotomayor has enough fame to pull bad bytches and establish solid level of legitimacy..enough to make money and be recognized regularly

He will probably never expand beyond his current niche. He's not gonna be a Howard Stern shock jock or even a Tom Leykis level.
He's got a quarter of a million subs on YouTube and multiple channels because his trolling constantly gets his channels removed. In YouTube fame it's decent buy major YouTube cats have millions of subs.
There just isn't much room for growth in what he's doing. The odds are people get tired or bored with it and move on.
Simpletons are keeping him afloat. People who aren't smart enough to realize that Tommy will say whatever he has to to spark controversy regardless of him actually believing what he says or not. It's mostly just a bunch of criticism and condemnation of blacks with no real solution except run from your own people and hate them because some of them are bad people.
