when i got to AU he was overwhelmingly popular too

im still pro-gene chizik despite the way things ended, atleast when he was people facing he was always the best talker ive heard at AU

Yeah Tuberville was definitely a good talker but that's about it. Gene was good too but him and Gus to me was a better combo. Gene was done as soon as Gus left.

shyt is crazy because this dude ain't even from Alabama. He's from Arkansas, spent a good chunk in Mississippi, and didn't even come to Alabama until he coached at Auburn. He was probably in his 50s then smh.
