It's always about the money. Sex workers generate a lot of cash that don't get taxed, so they are just cracking down on them hoe pages where they promote their activities.

Also this will be a huge blow to instagram, because a lot of pages, that have nothing to do with prostitution, will be blocked because of somebody reporting their page as "too sexual".

why would a company sabotage itself? especially when they are facing anti trust rulings to break up. which means they would prob have to sell off assets. why would you destroy the value of a company you have to sell? and facebook is not known for censorship I mean they just spend time getting publicly flogged for allowing voter suppression tactics and alt-right content on their platforms without shutting it down
