Black immigrants coming to the US are likely running from conditions far worse than the worst St. Louis hood.
Relating to the shytty conditions many Ados reside in is very easy for Black immigrants. Because the conditions they came from are far worse.
Ados need to explain to immigrants why the white system of governance in place is anti Black and debilitates Ados over other groups and will ultimately chew up Black immigrants too.
Because Black immigrants arrive into an American world of plenty and wonder why Ados are in a rut. Black immigrants for the most part are not coming from Europe, they have zero experience dealing with the depravity and cruelty of the white man so tend to think Ados aren't serious. America practices apartheid, Ados need to make this clear to new arrivals so they know what's up.
An outsider always stands a better chance of success than a local. Happens the whole world over.

The only reason blacks from outside of america can come here and thrive at all is all due to civil rights that have been fought for by guess who? ADOS.

The identity politics is getting lost in the shuffle because they keep trying to gatekeep a lineage. Tone and Yvette are trying to turn a ethnic group into an imprint that can easily be co-opted behind the scenes.

Again the reparations will come from people who do politics, yes you can crush weak candidates like Kamala but that won't get you reparations
And Tariq said himself FBA is only about culture and not politics

The problem is that you are still looking for a white savior. You wanna make an organization to beg the government to give you reparations.
What Tariq is advocating is for us to do for self and withdrawing from the political system if it is not gonna do anything for us.

He’s essentially combining Malcolm X‘a economic policy with Neely Fuller/Claud Anderson ethnic policy and Darity’s reparations assessments.
That’s why being on code is so important because it goes deeper than reparations. It’s about going the extra mile to prioritize a FBA before everyone else even if it inconveniences you at times.

You sound like you don’t know enough history to even speak on this.
1. Who cares how everyone got reparations, that’s the whole reason we have to create our own ethnic identity because we are not treated like everyone else. The government does not see “people of color” it sees its historical Black population and its immigrant tools it uses to displace its historic Black population.
2. Anyone can talk about reparations Tone and Yvette don’t own that discussion.
3. Making organizations for African Americans is the equivalent of making a uniformed standing army against the US Military, YOU WILL LOSE. Being on code and moving as a group of people that follow a set of principles is the equivalent of guerilla warfare, there’s no one entity or person to attack.
We’ve literally seen this first hand with MLK, Malcolm X, Black Panthers, and more. Then you add in all the other puppet orgs like NAACP, Urban League, and more and it becomes clear that centralizing your movement is a recipe for disaster.
