Just finished reading the case

It’s crazy Missouri courts/judges look past some of the DNA and of course our 6 judges of the us Supreme Court didn’t want to hear it even though the other 3 wanted to hear the case and would have overturned it

Remember u trump supporters, it was trump who put those 3 in office

This is what I'm saying. Is there something from the legal system that in not understanding? Any prelaw brothers or sisters can break it down for me? This reminds me of the story I believe it might have been in Florida where the judge, chief police, and even the district attorney admitted that the black defendant didn't do the crime but I believe it was on the State attorney that wouldn't drop the charges. And I think that brother is still in prison to this day. This isn't simply a tragedy or a legal misunderstanding this is all right crimes against humanity. Imagine praying to the same God with a person who is accusing you of a crime you didn't commit.
We don’t pray to the same God. There’s plenty of “gods” out there to pray to, these are Lucifer’s children.

Gotta put some blame on RBG as well for being selfish to die in office instead of stepping down when asked.

STFU. The Supreme Court Justice job is for life, and she did nothing wrong by serving her country until she died. The only people who deserves blame is bytch ass Mitch McConnell for refusing to hold hearings on Obamas picks, Republican CACs and of course the dumb fukk "I'm not voting until we get tangibles" people for supporting or allowing Trump to take office. Trump had small chance of winning so blaming RBG for not stepping down is fukking stupid.

Y’all nikkas fukking disgust me trying to politicize this man’s death

Because it IS political. What do you think, state sanctioned executions just happen by magic?? No, it's because ELECTED OFFICIALS are the ones deciding these things. What are you, some kind of a$$hole?? The judges, the DA... okay I'm done, you nikkas are retarded for real.

Someone sounds hurt and emotional abut what I said.

That job shouldn‘t be for live and you know it. In fact, it’s another reason why we’re in the predicament we’re in now.

You can save the emotional outburst as it’s not going to change my opinio.

"There is no physical evidence, no eyewitnesses that directly connect Williams to the murder, the DNA on the weapon wasn't his, the bloody footprint at the murder scene wasn't from Williams' shoe and was a different size, and the hair fibres found weren't his," said Gipson. "It was someone else that killed Gayle, not Williams.":francis:

How was Williams convicted?

During Williams' trial, the prosecution based its case on the testimonies of two people, Henry Cole and Laura Asaro. Cole had shared a cell with Williams after he had been taken into custody on suspicion of being involved in Gayle's murder. Cole said Williams had confessed to murdering the 42-year-old woman.:francis:

No solid evidence and even DNA prove he didn’t do it but testimony of a jail house snitch put this man to death.. wow

Since this is viral I knew that this isn’t all what it seems..and the fact that it got struck down by multiple high courts.,now before I go own I think he should have been retried and gotten life but there is evidence that he did it..is it beyond reasonable doubt idk that for the courts to decide but this is Amerikkka we live in..

Found it on Reddit.

• DNA technology and testing before trial did not examine “touch DNA,” based on standard techniques and practices at the time. Additionally, subsequent DNA testing has never exonerated Williams. (The DNA test proved that it was mishandled because it had DNA from prosecutors office..)

• Williams has a robust criminal history, including 15 felony convictions in addition to offenses related to Ms. Gayle’s murder: robbery (2), armed criminal action (2), assault (2), burglary (4), stealing (3), stealing a motor vehicle, and unlawful use of a weapon, which is all consistent with entering the home, attacking Ms. Gayle, and taking her items.
• Williams confessed the murder to his girlfriend soon after committing his horrific crime once his girlfriend found Ms. Gayle’s purse in Williams’ car, but he also threatened to kill her and her family if she told anyone, readily explaining why his girlfriend did not approach law enforcement until Williams was in custody.
• The girlfriend never requested the reward for information about Ms. Gayle’s murder, despite claims that she was only interested in money.

• Other individuals were present when Williams bragged about this murder, and they were disclosed to Williams’ team before trial and have been discussed in subsequent proceedings.
• Gayle’s personal items were found in the trunk of Williams’ car.
• Williams sold Ms. Gayle’s husband’s laptop to another individual who later identified Williams as the seller. (Then Williams tried made up a name to say who gave him the laptop)

The media and people just used it for clicks it’s not as cut and dry as it seems..

You're free to have your dumbass opinion, but no, I don't know it shouldn't be for *life*. If you have a problem with what the constitution says, that's your perogative, but don't pretend that people are doing something wrong by merely following the law.

Even the prosecutor , Weasley Bell says the girlfriend isn't credible. Looks like reddit left that out.

Mr. Williams did sell a laptop computer that was stolen from Ms. Gayle’s home, but Mr. Bell said there was evidence that he had received the computer from his girlfriend, who became one of the two witnesses against him in the belief that she would receive leniency in her own criminal cases, he said. Both witnesses died in the intervening years.

Not saying she is credible but she wasn’t the violent burglarizing guy that he was…People snitch when they get locked up ain’t nothing new..not saying he killed the woman but this story is not so black and white. One of the 2 killed the woman (more than likely based on the woman’s belongings being at theit place) so u just assume it was the girlfriend. People act like it’s an open and shut case which it wasn’t..that’s all I’m saying.

Should have he gotten the death penalty no,,with the questions and evidence surrounding it, they should have just stayed it..

I've made my opinions about this particular topic clear on more than one occasions in that a lot of the shyt in the constituent and what the founding fathers created is out of date as it never could account for selfishness and corporate money running even the highest positions in the country.

And voting Kamala Harris isnt huh? I don't know what y'all see in that woman..that y'all ain't see in 2020.....4 yrs changed y'all minds huh?

The conservative supreme court justices chose not to stay the the execution. The liberal judges tried to stop it.

I have no doubt Kamala would pick justices that would try to stop it.

Jill doesn't have have a chance of winning so I'm not going to entertain that scenario. She's a spoiler candidate
