Kobe was a sidekick, when he had to put a team on his back he faltered, so I call him a sidekick, in the grand scheme is is very similar to Scottie Pippen, except Scottie got HIS team a game away from the ECF and kept them above 50 wins when he lost Jordan. Kobe well, he wouldn't do that.

LeBron took a worse team to the finals. Wade took his team further as a youngin, Hell Donovan mitchell just did better than Kobe did in his prime with putting his team on his back than Kobe did as "the man". Kobe complained ran everyone away then complained about not having help. LOL

I'll give Kobe this he is in the top 10 for Laker greats, but the man isn't close to being the GOAT Laker.

I don't have teams I like players.
My favorite player of all time being Wilt.
All I needed to know... makes sense now. Stop trying to tell Laker fans what they think, you aren't one of us:mjlol:

And still ducked the question

I answered your question, I told you off the bat I wasn't a Laker fan and I never said Lakers should think a certain way.
You Kobe stans seem to have problems reading and understanding simple english.

Lol, smh...:snoop:

So you’re going to compare Kobe in 05-07, who was on a rebuilding team with almost all new players, no all star level teammates, to Scottie on a Bulls team that had threepeated and was mostly intact and had the luxury of knowing each other and the system? Mind you, Rudy T left mid-season in 05 and the rest of those years were spent teaching players the Triangle while getting the players back in place to use the system. That’s why YOU call Kobe a sidekick? In spite of taking over for the team countless times in the playoffs throughout his career. So every time Shaq was in foul trouble that meant Kobe was as helpless as george paul according to you, right? Lol, maybe you’re the kid here that was too young to appreciate Kobe?

Even with how bad LeBron’s team was at least he had the luxury of being together with them longer. Wade was surrounded by savvy vets and Shaq had a little gas left in the tank. Plus let’s not act like that series wasn’t sus with all the whistle blowing too. Either way, your point about others taking their team farther completely ignores the fact that Kobe’s teams needed to learn the Triangle before succeeding in the first place. You can’t go and watch those Laker teams and say those are remotely the same situations as the heats, Cavs, or Jazz.

So just to conclude, your weak backhanded top 10 ranking of Kobe doesn’t resonate with any Laker fans whatsoever just like the rest of your pre-packaged bullshyt espn talking points. Kobe is the the greatest Laker to wear the jersey, only Magic and Kareem can be argued against him. End of discussion.

This is why I turned in my LeBron “Stan” card as soon as he announced he was going there.

He chose a trash team with an oversized media presence that matches his own , that also has a rabid fan base that really hates him.

He could be in Philly winning games with great young players right now :snoop:

He’ll prolly be the only Laker great to not win a Chip as a Laker. Which will be another talking point against him.

He just wanted to live in Hollywood and do business :snoop:

nikka is Jordan on the Wiz status to me :yeshrug:

lol @ 1st page. some cats started out using logic and then remembered they were kobe stans instead of lakers stans. tossed that logic shyt in the bushes.
:mjlol:

this thread is proof why the lakers fan base will never be united and there will never be a truce between stans. kobe stans can never really root for lebron to be successful.

it's still weird to me how kobe is like an outsider on black culture, and has broken a lot of codes, but has the most stans on thecoli. then again people have been saying for a long time thecoli ain't majority black like we thought it was.

Kobe was cold blooded friends or not. Lebron passive aggressive stat padding is NOT gonna work in this uniform. You the man now, act like it. This shyt wouldn’t have happened if Kobe was on the floor and thats facts.

The same Kobe that snitched on snatch and caught a 2piece from Chris childs

We still feeling sorry for Shaq like he’s not a full blown cop that took the feds side and screamed blue lives matter during the Mike Brown shyt?

Oh, and that same wack ass two piece that ain’t drop Kobe but rather had him charging forward and made childs run back like Melo on the Knicks?

Let’s leave these shyt talking points back in the last decade y’all. :tu:

Bron took boobie gibson, Big Z, drew gooden, past the Celtics and the prime championship level Pistons to the finals.
AI took Eric Snow, Aaron Mckie, and Mutumbo to the finals
Donovan Mitchell took a gym teacher and ricky rubio past the thunder
Wade as a rookie put Miami on his bad and got them to the 2nd round

Kobe as the man is not on the level o a Magic who came to the Lakers and turned everything around or even a Bird. Kobe can't elevate his team, he is a solid #2.
A sidekick or support

Shaq lost with Penny before Kobe, Lost with nick and eddie jones before Kobe, and then after Wade he lost in PHX with Nash , lost with the Celtics, lost with LeBron.
What point was that supposed to make?
Doesn't really make one does it, because Kobe is still a #2.

My point is he wasn't winning shyt without Kobe, but you knew where I was going which Is why you ducked it so hard.

Thanks for finally answering tho

Same logic goes for Pau too

Wade gets an asterisk because if it wasn't for the refs calling every time someone touched Wade, they wouldn't have won that shyt either
