The 900 is a 2½-revolution (900 degrees) aerial spin performed on a skateboard ramp. While airborne, the skateboarder makes two-and-a-half turns about their longitudinal axis, thereby facing the other way when coming down than before. It is considered one of skateboarding's most technically demanding tricks.

When I was in college I was a BEAST in Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2.




...but I guess that's pointless compared to actual skating.

Have you seen his house? Got a skatepark on the inside. Hawks had money since the 90's.

He said when he started skateboarding he had to ask his big brother "how do I turn it around?"

I watched x games and Rob Dyrdek's skateboard league

Skateboarding fascinates me probably because I wish I could do it but my ankles are too from constantly spraining them when I was younger

Basically it was a lot of high profile and up and coming skaters basically hating on vert skating because they were making more money and getting the exposure (which in itself is obviously bullshyt,) over street skaters.

Some magazines also kinda had a stake in it too. in reality harmless jokes about vert skating, and in the case of Transworld magazine who went above and beyond to make skateboarding look like it was the embodiment of Jackass/X-games didn't help much.

Tho in reality Vert is actually harder to master than street so that also has a hand in it.
