The CGI is kind of a turn off to me. I can accept wire work, but martial arts movies are the best when the stunts/choreography are almost entirely practical.

Still I'm a fan of Jaa, so I will be checking it out.

I swear i took my girl at the time to watch that. I remember tellin her jaa was gonna be the next jet li in this bytch, with the new wave of Romeo must die, the one, kiss of the dragon, fearless, etc type joints.. but its like dude just disappeared from the mainstream spotlight b4 he even got started there and Jason statham took the spot

lol i ain't say stathan is better than dude but stathan DID take the spot as far as the go-to mainstream popcorn fight flicks guy. that used to be jet li's spot with some of the movies I listed in the early 00s (tho he did a couple serious ones with a cultural setting to his credit)

The RZA needs to banned from all films. His acting is atrocious. Even though he had a small role in that GI Joe movie his character and the way he delivered his lines was horrible. With that being said I cant wait to watch this.

Yeah and coincidentally, Statham did a few joints with Jet Li, with The One being one that he did before cats even knew that Statham got down with the chop-socky. But Statham's a white guy, so it's no surprise he'd have greater success in Hollywood with that gig, even if he's not as good as them and not doing it first and the chop-socky being pretty much their invention. But you know they do, ya dig.

Tony Jaa had a break down at one point making the Ong Bak sequels and I think after he decided to fall back from doing movies. Don't know about Jason Statham, I'd say Donnie Yen took the spot for a while but anyway it's nice to see Jaa back but since I've seen The Raid: Redemption now he has Iko Uwais for competition. :wow:
