I dl-ed and skimmed thru it twice a few weeks ago. Yeah, it's fairly decent and Marrese Crump (#2, bout the best thing about the movie tbh) is looking quite dope in it
, though after their first fight, they made their next bouts too 1-sided for Jaa. And yeah, the cgi was terrible and RZA is 5xs worse than the CGI. If you thought RZA couldn't get any worse than Man with the Iron Fist and for some foolish reason, bet your own life on that...you would surely lose that bet and your soul my friends. Most folks stop digging after they hear the metal clank, but RZA somehow dug MUCH deeper in the crates beneath the utter depths of hell to produce the absolute worst fukking acting ever here. And I thought this nikka actually has been doing some legit chop-socky over the years? fukking Dolemite had better kung fu.
You are aware that those aren't even remotely the same people right? They not the same fight/stunt team, martial art, director, actors, not even the same nationalities.
i know it's not the same people at all but isn't there a link between Merantau/Raid/Raid 2 & the guys who made Ong Bak? i thought it was the same film company or something. Baa-Ram-Ewe. i think i'm confusing them with Chocolate & Raging Phoenix, i thought they were all connected somehow. especially Merantau & Ong Bak look similar in the way they're filmed
