This isnt too surprising given the figures were being slashed at price and not being stocked in some places. I thought they were okay but Ive seen figure collectors complain about them. This is the part where AEW has to kinda figure itself out in proxy to WWE. Their liscening for a company that was built off indy guys doing hustle and merch shyt is kinda shyt. We know the deal witht the tees, the video game flopped and now this. Seen people say they might go to MacFarlane or Hasbro but if they didnt sell with Jazwares I doubt. Likely it'll be the companies that do the small indie and rare collector figures (Heels and Faces, Major Figures Pod and the company that does Cardona and Myers shyt)
In light of WWE's ticket pricing being high Ive seen Dub fans say AEW is more affordable and Im like they aint going. The merch for the kids aint there and to be honest as much as people think its hating, I dont think families would be convinced to watch the product with the hard core stuff at the PPVS and some TV.
Its audience is clearly male and some female twenty to thirtysomething singles with disposable income but not that disposable
