To me the one guy they absolutely cannot lose to WWE under any circumstance is Darby Allin. WWE is too great at marketing and branding for someone like him to land in their lap. They’ve barely pushed the button on Penta and he already one of the most over acts over there. They’d have little kids painting their face and eating out of his palm.

That’s definitely true but Darby strikes me as the type of dude who’d stay in AEW just cause WWE wouldn’t let him dive off a cage onto a pile of chairs, Tony probably don’t even have to break the bank to keep him around

That's fair. Having a Jeff Hardy type guy without issues would.be money. They're 1a and 1b. Which is crazy give they mad ethe biggest issue about mjf making the jump but his star has dimmed quite a bit imo.

Most of WWE money comes from the tv deals and they have burned some bridges already. All streaming and tv cares about his ratings so they can charge for ads or more users. No ratings or users no tv deals and without tv or streaming then what? If Netflix cancels the deal early or doesn’t resign where else is there besides Amazon and maybe YouTube?
I’ve also been hearing tko is using WWE to pay off billions in debt. They are just sucking the life out of it and squeezing the fans. It will backfire eventually the average wrestling fan can’t afford all these platforms or ple tickets.

Yeah, I'm not sure I'm buying that absent the Netflix deal that the WWE is going to be left out in the cold. I think we're a ways away from them being in any danger but I guess we'll see.

No way neflix is happy with the views they paid billions for. Raw is getting worse ratings than on cable. All these tv companies buy into the hype and don’t do research on the actual ratings or product. They don’t even have any stars anymore it’s all old guys.

Netflix put those numbers out? I wouldn't presume what they'd be happy or notnhapy with. AEW ratings have been bad and the reporting has been WB is happy with em.
