Ehh.. it’s a few things. Of course you have WWE superfans who hate anything that threatens the WWE hierarchy. Thats a given.
But with that said, and I’m sure a lot of people here will probably disagree with me, mainly because they’re involved in the fukk shyt.. but I say this as an AEW fan that also watches and likes WWE….
A LARGE portion of AEW fans are lapsed/ former WWE fans who grew sour over that product and grew to resent everything that company stood for over the years. the dumbed down brand of wrestling they offer, their favorites being fukked over and not pushed, etc. Because of that, you see a lot of AEW support accounts being so overwhelmingly anti-WWE to a point where it’s straight up obnoxious. A lot of the AEW hate is just push back toward / in response to that… in all honesty. It’s literally people trying to out hate each others preferred product by matching hate with counter hate

I crashed out numerous times explaining the most bland statements concerning the product more with stans of AEW, than dudes that pogo jump on WWE's nuts.TLDR: tribalism killed my love for wrestling and won't change until both sides of the coin realize that both promotions dgaf about them if they were dying on a deathbed.
