yeah the Kenny Omega return wasn't exactly HHH at MSG in 2002. They used his new theme music which the audience wasn't familiar with at all, so you didn't get the big crowd pop hearing his familiar theme. Plus he came out dressed like a substitute teacher for some reason. They also were limited in the storytelling they could do with him coming off a blowaway 5 star match in Japan because its not like he could do the "Will I still even be able to compete at the highest level?" sympathy evoking story now that their audience saw him pick right back up where he left off
