I'm really torn on this. The wrestling fan in me would love to see Mercedes/Sasha go back to WWE and continue working with Bianca, Bayley, Asuka, and Horseface. I'd also be excited to see her work with the newer women who joined RAW and SmackDown after Sasha's departure (Sasha vs Iyo would be
)However, as a fan of seeing Black people getting paid, I was very interested in seeing what kind of bag that Mercedes could finesse out of Tony & Shad Khan. Mercedes could've hit a huge lick if she had gone to AEW; and best of all, she'd only have to be on tv a few times each year. She could've gotten F.U. money, had a short program with Toni Storm, and then chilled at home until the spring. That would've been a historic come-up.
