Rainmaker wrestling style is just not a good fit for AEW as it currently stands. He's always been the slower, methodical, marathon type guy and that's not what AEW caters to at all. Unless he's in there with someone who can sell like Death, there's not much to pop the crowd until the last couple minutes with the signatures.
AEW has conditioned it's audience to faster pace and spot heavy wrestling, it's not shade it's a fact. They will die or zone out without it so he needed another hook and they're running with the BIITCH thing to make him stand out.
