Of course he threw away playoff games but what you're failing to realize here is he also won them; even latter in his career. since 2000, well past his prime and stacked teams, he won 5 playoff games. Romo has 2.

5 vs 2, there's your difference between Romo and Favre this century

So you really have no argument about the individual players, all you got is "but what they teams do?"? Playoff games can be decided by a bounce or a bad call. I am talking about how the players played. Favre was just as reckless (actually even more so in the playoffs) as Romo and did do more harm than good in the second half of his career.

So youre telling me on an individual level Romo is equal to Favre as a qb?

Thing with favre being more reckless in the playoffs is he got there more alot more then Romo. Romo has what like 6 playoff games under his belt?

2000s Favre? Yes. I have been asking what the substantive difference between the two is. 90s Favre is another level because he took chances, succeeded, and wasn't fukking up like that. 2000s Favre often looked like a nikka playing Madden.

Favre season and playoff runs in both 2007 and 2009 disagree with u

On what basis? He had seasons comparable to some that Romo has had and he ended his team's season when they had a shot at the SB with horrible decisions.

Repeating your assertion is not a basis :heh:. The passes this guy gets for ending his teams seasons with absolutely :mindblown: decisions never ceases to amaze me. I have my own eyes and a basis for my opinion. You disagree? Cool. But you gotta give me something more than "Me and other people said so".

that's why this is going to go nowhere. I just pointed out the two years that Favre did better then Romo has done but u just refute it with your own opinion. :manny:

no one is giving him a pass. Everyone has criticized him for losing games even up to that 2007 year where he threw the game ending pick. The thing u fail to realize is he set NFL records and won a ring and multiple MVP's to go along with the bad. Romo hasnt accomplished anything except Cowboys records.

I didn't refute anything. I merely asked what made those year better than anything Romo has done. You just repeated your assertion again. That's why this is going nowhere, because you can't provide a substantive reason why Favre (the individual) was better than Romo (the individual) since the turn of the century.

Word? He did these things after the year 2000? :ohhh: I must have missed it. What you fail to realize, despite the fact that I keep reiterating it, is that I am not comparing Romo to THAT Favre.

09: 4200 yrds. 33 TDs 7 ints. 68%. 107 QB rating
________
Romo

2007 (2nd year starting. First full year): 4200 yards. 36 TDs 19 ints. 64%. 97 qb rating.

2013: 3800 yards. 31 Tds 10 ints. 64%. 96 qb rating

2014: 3700 yards. 34 tds 9 ints. 69.9% [ 1 completion away from being the third qb ever to theow 70%]. 113 qb rating. Missing 2 games coming off back surgery.

And what about his playoff performances?

Favre 2007: 1 win 1 loss 409 yards, 5 TD's 2 int's
Favre 2009: 1 win 1 loss 544 yards 5 TD's 2 int's...

Favre stats for those two year: 953 yards 10 td's and 4 int's.

lets take the two years romo actually won playoff games..

Romo 2009: 1 win 1 loss 442 yards 2td's and 1 int
Romo 2014: 1 win 1 loss 484 yards 4 td's 0 ints

Romo total those two years: 926 yards 6 td's and 1 int.

And that was with Romo have a better cast of players on offense.

Please dont tell me u think fukking Tony Romo is a better QB then Favre during any era he played :snoop:

Maybe not the best QB of his contemporaries, but loved watched watching him play more than most

You gotta respect a quarterback that stands in the pocket and takes shot after shot and keeps getting up. My favorite romo moment was that third down conversion to Terrance Williams in Seattle two seasons back when he spun out of a sack, pointed at the sideline, and hit the receiver right on the line

Funny how nikkas compare rings and wins when it best suits their agenda when comparing QB's but we gonna just throw Favre's success in the 2000's out the window. Dude is a better QB. He did more in the playoffs as i just posted.
