He's always been a top 10 QB. It just took him being injured for cowboy fans to see how valuable he was. He has consistently put up above average numbers.

Tony Romo had insane numbers with Terrell Owens. They combined for most TD connects over a 3 year period from 06-08 I believe. It helped Brady tore his ACL in 08, but you get the idea. Romo put up numbers.

He got bum ass Patrick Crayton a WR3 deal/position in SD.

He got bum ass Laurent Robinson a WR2 deal/position in JAX. :dead:

He made Miles Austin look like a legit NFL WR1 threat. A force who put up elite numbers for a solid 16 games or so.

Witten is an All-Time great HoF TE. Coincidence Romo was his QB?


Dez is generational talent. But to act like he "made" Romo or that Romo wasn't already top 5-7QB year in year out is ridiculous.
Dez is insanely gifted. He leads the NFL in TD catches the last 5 years.

I like Romo and think he's one of the better QBs in the league, but the Cowboys have only had 3 good seasons with him at the helm, so I don't know what exactly he's carrying. He does get disrespected imo though.

I think their records speaks more to the lack of a quality back up. Weeden is trash and shouldn't be on anyone's roster. Cassell isn't good but he just got there. Had they addressed the back up QB in the off season they'd be on top of the NFC East. Vick was out there and could have done better and at least got two wins and held it together until Romo returned.

Thats the whole thing, this team is terrible without him. We see backup QBs almost every week come in and win a game when the starter is out. Like i said this team is 3-13 without him.

I agree, Romo has been gifted several hof receiving options in his career.

I'm not trying to say Romo doesn't have talent, just that it's ridiculous to suggest him missing is the reason they've lost these games.

It's extremely disrespectful to guys like Dez, Carr, Hardy etc to act like they don't matter. The cowboys beat the Eagles with Weeden leading the way against one of the top defenses in the NFL.

The mix of Dez being out, having no RB until these last 2 when DMC stepped up , and your defense missing starters all year is the reason they've been losing.
