Jodeci like the rest of those early 90s R&B acts aged like shyt. TTT still sounds dope. Better vocalist, better instrumentals, better songs. Only thing is Jodeci was more successful. And Saadiq on his own shytted on KC&JoJo. Those cookie cutter contemporary songs they were dropping were garbage to the point people were mocking them. nikkas ain’t even mention Lucy Pearl. That’s how good Saadiq is

TTT edges this due to broader musical range. If I'm having a cookout I'm putting on TTT. If I'm tryna get a girl pregnant than Jodeci. Both legends.

this is a much harder comparison than the usual set of bands jodeci gets pitted against (shai, guy, blackstreet, BIIM, dru hill, 112)....

i really don't like TTT's first album, but the following 3 are dope, same with jodeci tho, 1/2 their first album was

typed all that to say it's a draw...both have songs you feel in your soul when they come on

Outside of a few songs, "baby making music" does nothing for me.
