why do folks think that killing somebody, hurting somebody or committing crime makes them respectable or "real"? IT DOESN'T. keeping it real means being honest to yourself. just because you keep it honest to yourself damn sure doesn't make you respectable. there's plenty of child rapists, rapists, wifebeaters and etc that keep it real to themselves by acting out the thoughts and feelings they have in their heads. damn sure doesn't make them respectable for "keeping it real to themselves". dude was trying to prove himself to somebody which was why he was busy gang banging. that ain't keeping it real. there's people that get involved with that lifestyle because they have NO choice. they damn sure wouldn't if they had the choice but they're in a situation where they're stuck in it. their family is into it, they live on a block which is in control of by a gang and they're expected to join or be apart of it. they have to have a lot of balls to not be able to be pulled in that shyt if its in front of them 24/7. then you have a damn dumbass football playing from the suburbs from a two family home with a wife and kid that wants to seek someone elses approval so much that he's willing to get himself a multiple life sentences in two states so he tries to ride with a gang.
