Storytelling really is (was) one of the dopest parts of rap that got me hooked back in the days. The way they could paint word pictures in your head with such finesse and skill was inspiring to say the least.

Cube is one of my favorite MC's of all-time, and his first couple of albums are also in my favorites. And he was dope at telling stories, but not at the level of B.I.G. or even G Rap. When they did it, it was cinematic. You could literally feel like you were watching a movie. Cube was good at it, but he was never able to do it with the detail that they did. He also wasn't a better lyricist than either of those two. They were the best at it. Along with Slick Rick and Scarface.

Cube was easily the best rapper in the game from '90-'92, but his strengths weren't up there with B.I.G.'s.
