Playing someone your music isn't equivalent to wanting to get signed by them lmao. You clearly don't know any artists.

Aint nobody wanted to sign to the G-Unit label when it was dying, and no one did outside Kidd Kidd :mjlol:
You don’t know what you’re talking about. Shawty Lo was with the unit 2 years after a platinum album, also O.T. Genesis was signed to the unit around the same time. The situation didn’t go anywhere but fifty helped him make some connections before his deal with Atlantic. Also 50 was still getting features and magazine covers during that time. The youth was fukking with 50, he was on chief keef, j Cole, soulja boy, Troy Ave album’s. I’m not a even a 50 stan like that. But to say 50 still wasn’t making moves in the early 2010’s is just wrong. He still had baby by me, do you think about me, okay you’re right, all these got shown on bet and mtv jams. And he was running around the country with Floyd and was in red carpets. You act as if 50 wasn’t still in the mix.

You're right, G-Unit signed Shawty Lo and OT Genesis, but both of them joined G-Unit with zero buzz, and went nowhere in terms of their careers with G-Unit. You're proving my point that G-Unit was a dead label.

All the stuff you're saying about 50 getting features and magazine covers is irrelevant to the conversation. 50's a legend, of course people will wanna feature him. Soulja Boy and Chief Keef features happened through Interscope anyways, not like they were organic. But, to act like 50 still had the youth at this time is a far fetched. Lil Wayne was red hot. Rick Ross and MMG was emerging. All of the blog era rappers and Odd Future was popping. Waka and Gucci were running the South. You mentioned BISD but none of those singles were as big as 50s previous singles, and the album itself only did 100-200k first week which led to him being dropped.

The only real hit here is Down On Me. The rest are regional hits at best lmao. A couple of these are completely irrelevant songs.

People weren't listening to Chief Keef for Hate Bein Sober type songs. We were fukking with Kobe and Love Sosa.

hey idiot that’s not a lie, J Cole was staying at 50’s house with Sha Money XL and he wanted to sign but 50 didn’t think he fit the brand idiot.

Danny Brown has a joint album and mad songs with Yayo

French wanted to sign & Nicki too

ya I remember hearing danny brown potentially going to g-unit was real but 50 wanted him to switch up his image whereas danny brown felt it was a huge part of his brand

"if I ran G-Unit, I would've signed J.Cole, Danny Brown, etc" :mjlol:

Ain't nobody signing to G-Unit in the 2010s, and especially not because of Yayo :russ:

That’s not a lie though.

danny has spoken a lot about how he would’ve signed to G unit but 50 didn’t know how to market him cause of his image

the point here is Yayo claiming he would've made it work if he was in charge. How come he couldn't make his own career work? He's full of shyt.
