this is an incredibly gross misinterpretation of what you saw

the obsession with "bloodline" is so wrong. you can have a white mother and black father and be "black" because your skin color is black, and your sister is "white" because she looks more like your mother

your color classification (with all of its flaws and injustices) is based on what you look like, not your genetics

half the country is named da silva or dos santos and the other half is carvalho or oliveira, you think people are really getting nervous over their bloodline?

People really need to look on Black Colombians, they pretty much said fukk this Slavery shyt, and rebelled and formed Palenques all over Colombia.

Black Americans really need to start building relations with them. They get it folks.

We had a great doc about Black Colombians screened at my job by WPFW. shyt was wonderful, they are a very beautiful people. This part of the diaspora has me learning Spanish and Portuguese. Those two and French are vital to communicating with a huge portion of the Black World.
