This is regular parent shyt, especially with daughters. No dad wants their daughter riding on bald tires and catching a flat on a dark road somewhere.

i know this isnt a white or black thing but white children go into their 40s living with hand outs and etc.
where i live theres a whole generation of white people whose parents pay for their rent, bills, etc ... as long as their in college or saving for a "mortgage".
harsh realities though, being co-dependent is not whats up.

All fathers are viewed this way, because men are supposed to be providers. However, since so many black men are not married to, or living with the mothers of their children, it seems like they’re ATMs, because they are not seeing and actively involved in their children’s lives every day. Look at the responses to the Nick Cannon threads.

If that is your perspective, that financially providing makes you a good father, don’t be surprised when we’re viewed as ATMs.
