I've seen a few posts here from men hating on fathers taking care of their daughters needs. Says it creates a false sense of entitlement that the man after the father is supposed to do the same.
All fathers are viewed this way, because men are supposed to be providers. However, since so many black men are not married to, or living with the mothers of their children, it seems like they’re ATMs, because they are not seeing and actively involved in their children’s lives every day. Look at the responses to the Nick Cannon threads.
“He can afford it, so it’s okay.”
If that is your perspective, that financially providing makes you a good father, don’t be surprised when we’re viewed as ATMs.
Stop having children out of wedlock.

Unfortunately people will engage more on negative topicsI wonder if every time OP sees a tweet, he asks himself "Is there a way I can make this a divisive topic and get a plat thread out of"

As men, we have to teach our daughters the same way we teach our sons. If you're in school, working hard, I'll help you. If you got a degree making more $$$ than I am but just don't wanna pay for something.....
I mean either you can handle it….
Or your daughter will be selling cat![]()
